i went to Italy this last March, it was very neat. I met a lot of different people. I would recommend seing it - it is a great culture. Milan is one of the dirtiest cities in Italy, but i thought i was very pretty.

Really? I thought it's an elegant and picturesque Italian metropolis. Anyway, I still adore the city very much. I like the flamboyant architecture of the buildings there, especially the Duomo di Milano (Milan Cathedral) and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Maybe you can post some of your travel pics captured in Italy here?
(left) Duomo di Milano (Milan Cathedral), one of the largest Roman Catholic cathedrals in the world and yet it's the world's largest Gothic cathedral.
(right) Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, claimed to be the world's first shopping mall, is named after the first king of united Italy --- King Vittorio Emanuele II (King Victor Emmanuel II).

Really, Milan is one of the dirtiest cities in Italy? Unbelieveable. But it looks so awesome through the pictures. We will find the truth when we visit it one day.
When my aunt visited Italy, Vatican City, Southern France and Monaco (all on the same tour) last year, she said she has the most unforgettable memories in Northern Italy, Monaco and Nice (Southern France). She complimented the Duomo di Milano as the most beautiful cathedral she has ever seen. Unlucky for her, the cathedral was under renovation during that time and yet she couldn't see the magnificent façade in its utmost glory. As for the interior of a Christian monument, she praised the Basilica di San Pietro (St Peter's Basilica) in Vatican City as the grandest of them all.

i would agree the Duomo was beautiful (although under construction while i was there also!) and the architecture is astounding, but when talking with people who lived there, they all said it was not the best Italian city. I guess it has the most pollution, trash, crime, and immigrants of any city in Italy. Of course this is only from the perspective of the people i talked to - I thought it was great!
i will definatly post some pictures - i'll get working on that
Wow! These photos are so superb! I like all of them! The stunning architecture... The rich Italian culture... The seductive environment... Breathtaking!

Really? I thought Southern Italian cities are worse. Northern Italy is synonymous with elegance and sophistication. Milan is the fashion and financial capital of Italy. In my opinion, Naples and Rome are more polluted than Milan. The climate in Milan is much cooler, and I love that.
