Whenever we hear or speak of the term Allah, what will be in our thoughts? Islam and anything Islamic for sure! Well, in the Arabic language, Allah refers to the Almighty God. Do you know that Christians and Jews of Arab descent and Arabic-speaking also refer to their God as Allah? The term is used in Arabic translations of the Christian Holy Book, Bible. That means Allah is the common term of divinity shared between Muslims, Arab Christians and Arab Jews when referring to the monotheist deity. Since Allah is synonymous with Islam, we rarely hear that there are actually non-Muslims who refer to their God as Allah. Strange, strange! Believe it or not!
