Just bought a book about palmistry. Do you believe in palmistry? I do. I wish to learn more about this exciting and living skill. Our palm lines change throughout our lives. Maybe those lines can presage our destinies and future. If I master this skill well enough, maybe one day I'll run a fortune-telling stall based on palmistry. Hehe......

Don't be ridiculous! I've always imagined fortune-tellers to be old and fragile, and who have nothing better to do. How much did you buy that book for? I don't believe in palmistry......it doesn't really work, does it?
Maybe you're influenced by the TV drama series which often portray fortune-tellers as liars and money face. Nope, you're absolutely wrong! Palmistry can be traced back many centuries ago, and it's still widely used today. I can assure you that this thingy is true and real. You might not believe in fate, but you can't deny the magic of this amazing skill. You can start involving yourself into this field, and you'll surely make a difference in your life. You will know yourself better, and will then know how to remedy your mistakes.

I too not believe in such things, but I believe in "Feng Shui" because sometime it is based on Science. So, it is more accurate, reasonable and explainable.
Speaking of Feng Shui, hehe, my whole family believes whole-heartedly in it. We are changing the Feng Shui of our home frequently, in order to keep the auspicious 'chi' flowing, and to eliminate all the bad 'chi' or energy. After my aunt runs a Feng Shui shop here (which is a branch of the famed Feng Shui expert and author, Lillian Too's Feng Shui merchandise shop), I am drawn to this captivating skill more than ever. I visit the shop as much as I can to check out the latest Feng Shui energizers on sale which can be used to remedy the illness feeling of one's home. There's also a bi-monthly magazine which covers all important aspects on Feng Shui, written by Lilian Too herself. And lots more...... Now the Chinese New Year is approaching. In this year, the Lap Chun (Cantonese for Spring, which starts on February 4th every year), has passed the Chinese New Year (which starts on February 9th). According to Lillian Too, there are a lot of things to do to remedy this problem, and the year 2005 will not be a good year. This is because this year has no beginning (as the Lap Chun has passed the Chinese New Year), thus we must use the Feng Shui skills to ensure that we will continue to enjoy a harmonious and peaceful living this year.

I think Lillian Too's fame is caused by her capability of explaining and describing feng shui in English, which can't be done by other feng shui practicer. This makes her feng shui theory much more convincing, especially among Singaporeans and those from English speaking background. Agree?
Maybe that's one of the reasons. But she will never have succeeded if she doesn't have expertise in this skill, right? What's more, with her fluency in English and capability of explaining this living skill more lively, more and more non-Chinese are drawn to this amazing skill. Her Feng Shui merchandise boutiques network has been expanded to countries as far as the U.S.A., Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, India, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and of course, Malaysia, and the number is still growing. She even has talks on Feng Shui in exotic locations, such as Hawaii and also Singapore. She's really a brilliant lady. As a graduate of the prestigious Harvard University in the U.S.A., she became the first female CEO ever in Asia, and held the title in an Asian bank in Hong Kong. She later resigned and started involving herself exploring the wonderful and never-ending excitement of Feng Shui.

Finally I've met someone who shares the same interest as mine! OK for that, but on one condition: Be careful with my precious book and don't ruin it! And also if I could only meet you lol......
