i am interested to know different views of the man Jesus. who was he? how much of what "the bible" says about him is true? did he really physically come back to life?
Hey, I'm not a Christian, but I will try to tell you what I know about Jesus from my point of view. I truly believe that Jesus is the God, and that He incarnated in the form of a human to save all humans on Earth from all sins. I believe in the divine concept of Trinity, although I haven't fully comprehended this. In conclusion, Jesus is the Lord, the Saviour, and the God.

Just being curious. You believe that Jesus is the God when you are a Buddhist. Then who is Buddha? Another God?

What do you think? I've asked my grandmother and she said that Heaven sits higher than Lord Buddha. Heaven in the Taoist concept is equivalent to God. In other religions, especially in the Bahá'í Faith, the adherents of the faith (called Bahá'ís) view Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad and Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the faith, as prophets and the Messengers of God. In Christianity, Christians accept Jesus as God. In Islam, Muslims oppose the fact that Jesus is God, but accept that he's one of the prophets sent by Allah (God in the Arabic language). Moreover, Jews and Christians are considered 'People of the Book' by Muslims, as stated in the Muslim Holy Book of Quran (Koran). These religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, the Bahá'í Faith, Sikhism and some others) are called monotheistic religions, because they believe there's only one God.

you seem very intelligent, and studied in this subject. I love hearing your thoughts.
I have just been thinking about Jesus lately, and I am shocked that some people say he was a "great teacher" and yet he obviously claimed to be God. In my opinion we have a choice: eaither Jesus is crazy, a liar, or God. "Good teacher" might not be the best way to describe him
Hmm...... God is God. We can't name God in other not-so-suitable nicknames. It will be a big humiliation not only to the religion, but also to its adherents if we call God the wrong title. A God's title must be divine, or a name that conspicuously shows the divinity of God. For Christians, they should call Jesus either God, Son of God, Father, Lord, Saviour, or simply, the Divine. These titles clearly show the supremacy and divinity of God.

That's ultimately offensive. It's blasphemy and sort of apostasy of you to say that. You must understand that there are Christian members around here too. If you say these words to Muslims regarding insults to God or their respected Prophet Muhammad, I'm assured that you'll be dragged into jeopardy, and you might get slain in the end by these pious devotees. Well, I know that you're not doing it in purpose. Thus, I truly hope that you'll be extra careful in what you write, as I too don't want to see any post by any member here give rise to unwanted controversies. That might be perilous. Take heed of this!
