We're exposed to many dialects here, but I can only speak some, although not so fluent. Those dialects are Cantonese (Yue), Hokkien (Min), Teochew, Hakka and others. As for me, I only speak a lil bit Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew. And yes, these are all Chinese dialects.

I think Chinese has the most dialects upon any other ethnics in the world, and I am very proud of that though I can't master all these dialects, and I think nobody can.
I can speak some but not so fluent. I'm an ordinary Teochew but I don't know how to speak. Should I be ashamed of myself? I can speak Hokkien. Cantonese, I just know a little bit, learn from Hong Kong's movies. I hope I can learn to speak Teochew even though just a little!
My dad's a Teochew and my mum's a Hakka. I don't even comprehend Hakka, but only know how to count from 1 to 10 in the language, which is taught by my mum when I was young.
