Although traditionally and predominantly a Christian Roman Catholic nation, France houses approximately 6 million Muslims (10% of the French population), mostly immigrants from the former French colonies in North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia etc.). Islam is also France's second largest religion, only lagged behind Roman Catholicism, and supersedes Christian Protestantism and Judaism. France is also home to Western Europe's largest Jewish community, at around 600,000 (1% of the French population).

Hey Stupid Antique, did you notice the phrase WESTERN EUROPEAN NATION? Israel is a Jewish nation in the Middle East, bordered by Muslim nations. Pakistan is an overwhelmingly Islamic Asian country, situated in the northwest of India. Western Europe encompasses the great nations of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and so on. These nations together make up the western part of Europe and is one of the world's most powerful, wealthiest and technologically-advanced regions on Earth.
